Charm bracelets are an age old favourite. I had one when I was a child that I have stored in a precious memory box, and then I had a Pandora bracelet that my other half bought me when we were first together. And now I have a new love, with an added equestrian theme!

My beautiful Exclusive Sterling Silver Foxtail Charm Bead Bracelet, from Hiho Silver, and it’s stunning roller beads.

Now, it’s no secret that I love to tell you about my latest Hiho pieces. (I’d be a terrible brand ambassador if I didn’t, wouldn’t I?! Lol!) But this one really is quite special. Usually I just chat about the pieces in my vlog or over on Instagram. So you know when I dedicate a whole blog post to something, I must be pretty smitten! 😍

I’ve had my Foxtail for a couple of months and I’ve waited until now to tell you about it, because there were a couple of very specific charms I wanted acquire first.

The first charm I got my mitts on was the Limited Edition Badminton 2017 Roller Charm. Now, you may have seen my posts about my first time at Badminton, back in May. It was a pretty special day out for me, with radio interviews, blogging for Badminton themselves and, of course, working with Hiho! So, it was extremely fitting that my first bead was the Badminton one, to mark this occasion.

My second bead was the Exclusive Sterling Silver & 18ct Gold Vermeil Fairfax & Favor Roller Charm. I got this when I went to the Game Fair. Again, it was my first time at this event and I was doing an Instagram takeover for Hiho and also working on an extremely exciting giveaway with the wonderful Fairfax & Favor.

Hiho teamed up with Fairfax & Favor on a project for the Newmarket races and this beautiful charm was the result of that collaboration. It includes gorgeous, blue CZ crystals, to incorporate Fairfax & Favor’s iconic gold and navy branding and the company crest, complete with crown and swords, hangs down from the bead. This was so fitting for me to receive at the Game Fair, where I was working with both fabulous companies!

And then most recently, when I found out that you were able to personalise your own charm, I knew I had to have one made to mark my wedding day. Hiho provided the most beautiful jewellery for my wedding, so it was lovely to be able to also use their Foxtail bracelet and charms to remember the date. I have 3rd June 2017 stamped onto the back of the third charm.

I’m unsure whether this service is available to the public just yet, or whether it is yet to be introduced, but I know I already have friends who are interested in the personalised charms and can’t wait to get their hands on them. They’d be great to commemorate special dates with your horse, such as qualifying for HOYS or your first time competing at a big event! I just love the idea!
