Black Background Shots - by Specialist UK Equine Portrait Photographer, Essex I via sophiecallahanblog.com I #equinephotography #photography #equineblogger

Hello, my favourite people!

So, I have two exciting things to share with you today. The first being that one of my goals for 2017 was to nail down a stricter blogging schedule, so that you guys would know what blog posts to expect and when to expect them.

In light of this, I’ve decided to add a new series to my blog. So, welcome to the very first FYI Friday!

I already upload my weekly vlogs every Monday and I’m now going to be posting a new blog post every Friday, which will be geared towards helping you run your equine business in some way. Some posts may be focused on social media, some may be photography related and some will just be geared towards those of you running any type of small equine business. But either way, they’ll be educational and hopefully super valuable.

That way, we have a little bit more structure and you know that you can expect to see businessy posts on my blog, every Friday! And then my other posts, about my shoots, products I’m loving and my trips out and about, will just filter in on other days of the week as and when I have them.

And to kick off FYI Fridays, I have created a very highly requested video for you.

One of the questions I get asked most often is how I achieve my black background photos. And seeing as they’re super simple, but super effective, I thought I’d create a quick, easy video tutorial to show you how I do it.

I hope that this was helpful and enjoyable for you. If you aren’t a photographer and are looking for more general small business advice, don’t worry, I have a fab post lined up for you next week!

And if you enjoyed today’s FYI Friday post and have any ideas as to what you might want to see in the future, I’d love to hear from you. Please just pop a comment down below and I will take all ideas on board, wherever possible.

Thanks for stopping by, don’t forget to subscribe to the blog at the bottom of the page and please do come back soon!
