Last weekend I made a trip over to The Equine Training Centre, near Braintree, to meet Jorja and her pony Pippa.
Our shoot was actually scheduled for a few weeks back and it rained on the day we’d booked, so we rescheduled for last weekend, just managing to get a session in before Pippa went off to her new home, the following Monday.
Jorja has owned eight year-old, Irish Sports Pony, Pippa, who’s showname is Parkrose Petra, for a little over a year, but has sadly outgrown her.
So Pippa has now gone on to be loved and adored by an evelen year-old girl and Jorja is seeking a new horse to compete.
Together, Jorja and Pippa has compete in various affiliated and unaffiliated competitions and were always in the ribbons. It’s clear that Jorja is a very confident young rider and I absolutely loved working with these two.
I’m so glad that we finally had a beautiful sunny day for this goodbye shoot and that we managed to get it done before Pippa was off on her travels.
I would like to wish Jorja the best of luck with finding her new equine partner, and also every happiness to Pippa and her new owners. It’s always a scary but exciting prospect, buying a new pony, but she seems like an absolute sweetheart!
